GMRS BUSINESS TIP #3

 GMRS BUSINESS TIP #3

Did you know that some businesses that use two-way radios record the communications for safety purposes? If you want to do the same thing, simply get an inexpensive digital recorder and set it so that it records only when it hears audio. Plug it into the speaker/microphone jack of a GRMS radio, and you will be able to record all transmissions done by your company over GMRS.

If you operate in a noisy environment, most GMRS handheld radios have speaker/microphone jack in which you can plug in a head or earbud set so that radio transmissions can be heard over the noise. Head and ear bud sets can also be used so that employees can keep their hands free for tasks while using the radio, or to prevent others from hearing what is being received on the radio.
